Effects of Potassium Compounds Foliar Spray on Mineral content of Leaf and Cluster Stalk , and on Fruit Quality in ¢¥ Campbell Early ¢¥ Grape

Abstract
This study was carried out to clarify absorption effect of foliar sprayed potassium compounds, to select suitable foliar liquid fertilizer of potassium and to determine optimal concentration and application times of K©üPO©þ in ¢¥Campbell Early¢¥ grape. The results obtained were as follows;
1. Even though potassium was absorbed by foliar application of KH©üPO©þ, KNO©ý and K©üSO©þ, phosphorus and nitrogen were absorbed with potassium in KH©üPO©þ and KN03 respectively. Thus, K©üSO©þ is considered as the promising potassium fertilizer in foliar spray.
2. Optimal concentration of K©üSO©þ in foliar spray seemed to be 0.6 %.
3. When the K©üSO©þ was sprayed four times in growing season, the absorption of potassium was observed in leaves and fruit peduncle. And this application of K©üSO©þincreased soluble solids in fruit.
4. A highly significant positive correlation was found between potassium content in fruit peduncle and soluble solids in fruit juice.
5. Potassium content in fruit juice tended to be increased through increasing the number of times of K©üSO©þ spray.
